OPENING TIP
What side are you on ?

Golf is a left-sided pulling game,√ - NOT a right sided throwing game X.

NOVEMBER

WEEK 1 TIP

Heads up... or down?

There is no such thing as "head down".!!!
If your weight is on your left foot at impact, you can not lift your head.
If your weight is on your right foot at impact, you can not keep your head down.
X

WEEK 2 TIP
Putting it straight ?

Every Putt is a straight putt.
i.e. if a putt has a 1 meter break, you must putt towards the 1 meter break,

... not towards the hole. X

WEEK 3 TIP
Putting Position & Posture

Eyes must be over the ball at address

Lower back must be ram-rod straight! - i.e. push your head forward & your backside will push back / outwards - to give you the correct putting posture.

WEEK 4 TIP
Head or shoulders

Instead of left shoulder going under chin at backswing, think of right shoulder going behind your neck – i.e. this guarantees a full shoulder turn.

NOVEMBER -> DECEMBER

WEEK 5 TIP
Where is your weight?

In every shot in golf, your weight must be on your left foot at impact
i.e. Left hip pulls the left hand down and through the ball.

WEEK 6 TIP

Completing your backswing?

You MUST complete backswing before starting downswing!!!
Remember, Your backswing is there to wind you up! No more, No less.

WEEK 7 TIP
Swing Pace

Try to start downswing at same pace as you start your backswing
Try not to jump / jerk back at the ball
X

WEEK 8 TIP
What is your head and body doing during the putt?

When practicing putting... On a 3 meter putt, don't move head or body until the ball has either gone in
J or come to rest.
This will train you NOT to look up, which is possibly the most destructive fault but yet the easiest to cure.
